The Oxygenated Olive Oil is a Class I Medical Device, for use on intact skin, with safety and performance evaluated in public and private healthcare settings. Its formulation is based on olive oil of organic origin subjected to ozonation, with a peroxide index of ∼ 300 mEq O₂/kg, which gives it a high content of hyperoxygenated fatty acids. Among the formulations available in its category, it has one of the highest levels of peroxidation described on the market, under controlled manufacturing conditions. Hyperoxygenated fatty acids, widely recognized in the healthcare field for their interest in skin care, exhibit antimicrobial and antioxidant activity, contributing to the regeneration/repair of the skin.
